If you love to drink wine as I do, then you definitely need a wine cooler to keep those wine chilled. Since I only drink wine every now and then, I did not need a big wine cooler. I just wanted something compact that would fit on the kitchen counter. I did a lot of shopping and researching before I finally came upon the Cuisinart CWC-800 8-Bottle Private Reserve Wine Cellar.
The Cuisinart has the ability to hold 8 bottles of wine including red wine, white wine, and champagnes. The electronic touchpad allows you to easily set the temperature from anywhere between 39F to 68F. The thermo-electric cooling system keeps the wine cool while running quietly. There’s also an on/off switch that turns on the light in the cooler so that I can see the wine.
I currently have this CWC-800 wine cooler sitting on kitchen counter. It looks pretty nice because it is stainless steel which matches my kitchen appliances. The only issue I have had so far was the customer service at Cuisinart. They do not seem to be trained well and they weren’t able to answer my questions. One time I called them up to ask about a strange noise on the motor but they could not solve the problem. Eventually I just let the motor be and hope that it doesn’t break down. I would recommend getting this wine cellar if you want a compact wine cooler at a decent price.
