I recently started drinking more wine. It is a new hobby of mine. Before, I would just store the wine in my regular refrigerator. However, that did not last too long because I typically end up buying several bottles of wine. I needed a refrigerator dedicated to keeping the wine cool. So I started doing a lot of research for the perfect wine cooler. I found that many wine coolers do not last long. Many of them would break down after a couple of months of use.
In my search for a wine cooler, I came upon the Edgestar Deluxe 28 Bottle Wine Cooler Refrigerator. I was attracted to this wine cooler based on the positive reviews that it had. The features of this unit were also impressive. It can store up to 28 bottles of wine. It has a tinted glass so that light won’t damage your wine while it’s inside the cooler. Also there is an adjustable thermostat for controlling the temperature to exactly what you want. So I went ahead and bought the unit. Upon receive it and plugging it in, I thought that it was broken. There was not a sound from the unit. I was able to lower the temperature down to 55F with humidity of 70%. This is exactly what I wanted. The only issue I see with this device is that the temperature control is in the back and you would have to take out a bottle of wine in order to adjust it. But that does not really bother me much because I only need to set the temperature once and forget about it.
For the price of this wine cooler, I would definitely recommend it. It looks nice on my counter top and matches my other appliances. It keeps my wine cool and is pretty energy efficient. That’s all I need in a wine cooler.
