All I had to do was to add the ingredients into the pot and then select one of the three automatic cooking options. The three options are program, manual, and probe. Program mode works for those who want to set a specific amount of time to cook their food. Then the cooker will automatically keep the food warm after the specified time. The manual mode lets set high or low heating. This mode is good for heating up food or if you just want to cook manually. Finally, the probe mode should be used if you want to cook a lot of meat or are cooking food which requires the cooker to reach a certain temperature. I really love this cooker because it takes the guesswork out of cooking. I never have food that is over cooked or under cooked. It always comes out just right. It truly is set and forget. I always throw in a whole bunch of ingredients and it cooks enough to last me several meals. It’s perfect for those who don’t know or don’t want to cook.
